Drove the 4 wheeler all the way to the tree overlooking a saltlick. Put the climber on the tree with the headlights. Parked 4 wheeler about 10 yds away in the woods. Climbed and sat down at about 6:15. 6:40 doe #1 down at 24yds. 7:15 doe #2 down at 25yds. and then at 7:25 shot and lost doe #3 for the morning! The last one was shot high at 7yds no exit hole no blood trail!
Both deer donated to HFTH! Saw over 20 deer! 2 decent bucks in range but Im trying to save them for the juvenile hunt! The 2nd doe I shot was chased to me by a good 8pter!
