1st one of the year after not seeing much this year except lots of sign and lots of rain on my days off. She came directly to my stand and started sniffing the tree. She then walked off and I shot her quartering away at 8 yards. After practicing at 40-50 yards, an 8 yard shot felt like she was in the tree with me :grin:
Ran 60 yards and did the death cartwheel, love it when they go down in sight. My arrow didn't pass all the way through, I think because of the angle. I found the end of my arrow lodged in her heart, see pic. Entrance high right back, exit left shoulder.
