its been really slow for me thus far, but this afternoon it all changed. Finally heard a bird gobble on the ridge behind the barn at 3:30. got to with in 100 yards set up and called. he cut me off gobbling. saw him strutting behind a oak. he gobbled and strutted for an hour before he got to 40 yards. best show I have ever witnessed in my 3 year turkey hunting experience. 22 lb, 9" beard and 1" spurs. what a rush!

Congrats, but saying it's been slow 10 days into the season made me laugh. Ahh the old days when killing one or even hearing one a week was a blessing.
