Yesterday was a good close one but no trigger pull. Walked back in last night to roost and 2 guys was walking out with birds. Ended up finding a bird in a tight spot. Setup about 80 yards from him this morning about 430 and ended up being more than 1. Got the hens fired up on the roost and he pitched down way before they did. He just wouldn't poke his head up over the ridge for me. Either him or another finally fired up about 60 yards away about 10am and I ended up in battle with some other guys and a hen. He was on my side so I covered ground but he had disappeared. His hen quickly crossed my path so I give her a few mins then pulled her to me. He popped out with a group of jakes a few mins later that's all she wrote.

To be honest I couldn't get a count. Some of em flew to me across the river. Id say 20 at the least.
