1-16-16 Rabbit Hunt

Finally had the weather go in our favor so we could get the dogs out and make a few laps around the thickets. Morning started quick and was pretty steady throughout. Most of the rabbits were able to run for a long time before they finally made a fatal mistake, or at least before we finally managed to hit them. Love to hear the dogs chasing these Perry County swamp rabbits.

Congrats on good hunt. Been a long long time since Ive been rabbit hunting with a dog. Dad used to keep a couple of Beagles when I was growing up.

Not off the top of my head I don't. Usually we would have something, but we have been basically restocking our pack with young up and comers.
