the drums have gotten so worn small powder is leaking out the side... I guess it is just an excuse to get a new nice one... but that thing sure did last a long time for being almost all plastic
They probably would but I would feel bad about it... I certainly have gotten my money out of the stuff... I think everything at the time in the package was like $80 bucks... Press, scale, measure and a set of dies
I'm still using my old RCBS Rockchucker from 40 years ago. Still making all I need it to do.
And now it's going to cost you that much for just the dispenser. If they'd replace it, I'd let them. That's what the lifetime thing is there for and they have no problem touting that to sell their products. Backing their product also gives them free advertising from satisfied customers too. That's obviously up to you but I wouldn't feel bad about it.
I finally broke out the Chargemaster that I got from a member almost a year ago, last year. That thing is very accurate. I let it throw a charge, then weigh it on my AnD scale, and I'd say 9 out of 10 charges are within a tenth of my target weight.
I was happy to get my money back and send mine down the road.
I have a brand new one of those...came in the kit. I've never used it. It's yours if you want it.I bought this powder dispenser in 1988... it is finally giving it up... Time to finally upgrade I guess... I got this as part of a Lee reloading package in '88 and have used it since. There is no telling how many charges of powder this thing has thrown over the years... It has been a good one.
They were on sale somewhere last week for $179. Midsouth or Natchez I think.
that is really nice of you and i appreciate it... However, I did go ahead and order a new upgraded all metal model more because I just wanted a nicer one that anything else...
