great catch! What river system were you fishing? Large boat, movable camp or lodge based? I have been going to Brazil every year for 20+. I fly fish for them but anyway you fish they are a great fish

Very cool. I hear those can be caught in south Florida.
They sure can. I lived in South Florida until I graduated high school. The canals are full of them and I remember as a teenager riding my bike through neighborhoods and shopping center areas where those canals run and I'd catch a lot of them. They're very aggressive and will attack just about any fast moving bait you burn by them. Rapalas always did the trick.

I'd guess these days most of those canals are fenced off so today's youth can't enjoy the things I once did.

I got there a day early, not supposed to be. The host fixed my up with a tour guide. I was miserable, NOT. She was great.
