TWRA needs to import these. They don't look like they will take (chicken) crap from anybody.

What would you like for us to do? Since I'm on the other side of the state, I hope not too much.

Ridiculously high prices, meaning less than any of your bills or gas money annually? How much do you pay on simple enjoyments like cold beer every year? Are you limited to only hunting southern Wayne county? The license covers the whole state...

No, no ,no. He don't have to pay anything he's a land owner. He is blaming TWRA for not managing / having Turkeys on HIS property. It's their fault you know?!?!?! [emoji2957]
His paying nothing and wants it for free And since he's a land owner he wants to control YOUR turkey limit

I know hes beating a dead horse. But, it has nothing to do with his property. We had turkeys, and lots of them, and they simply vanished in the matter of a couple years around 2007. South of 64 highway and 3 counties wide, they dissapeared. What I think gets to him, as well as everyone else who is vested in those 3 counties, is the fact that it took 10 years for anyone to acknowledge that the turkeys had dissapeared.

Now, the population has seen an uptick the last 3 or 4 years, and I believe whatever wiped them out then is gone. If they would close season for these areas, and we could get people on board with trapping, and of course habitat where we can. We would have a sustainable population in 5 years. That will never happen though so the expectations of having a population around anymore is a pipe dream.

I have no idea didn't sound like that's what he was bitching about maybe he came across wrong. Hard to tell on the internet. It sounded like he was wining about TWRA not managing birds on his property. Sorry if I read it wrong.

If he's bitching about the high price of hunting license I'm with him 100%.

I don't care a bit to pay the price of a hunting license for all the public land we have access too. But I hunt public 100 percent of the time. I can see were some would complain when you look at the price of other States license.
