Keeping small crappie

Just curious,
If you are fishing somewhere that doesn't have a size limit on crappie, what is the smallest you will keep?

I remember fishing KY before they had a size limit and my buddy would keep them down to about 8" long.

I look at it like a bream, a 7" bream makes a nice fillet. :D

No telling how many 10 1/2" crappie he throws back.

After you have caught enough 15 inch slabs its hard to put a 9 inch crappie in the cooler even when its legal.

We usually will try put the divider in the live well and all fish from 10"-11" go in one side then we cull after we reach our limit keeping bigger fish.
