    HUMMINGBIRD FISH TOURNAMENT

Tournaments will be the death of fishing soon. Not saying this to be mean, just been running the lakes for 36 years and seen how fishing quality has dropped drastically since then.

    Yellowjackets

With the number of bears in Scott county, don't hardly see any yellow jackets, just deep holes where the nest had been. That's the only good thing about the bear population!

    Walleye Cheaters Sentenced

That is why I never got started in tournaments. Too much incentive for cheating. Wayyyy too many tournaments on the lakes anyway!!!

    Walleye on Clinch

Where to look for them on the powell after they spawn? I fished a lot for SM out of Powell Valley Marina up to the last marina on the Powell, only caught a few. Walleye.

Eating one U.S. fish likened to drinking month's worth of tainted water.

Don't believe anything the govenment says any more.

    Dwarf Deer

Forgot to say that was in Jackson County.

    Dwarf Deer

Seen a full body mount of a perfect 12 pt. in a grocery store/check station in 1995. Ther deer couldn't have weighed more than 90/110 pound live weight.

Hunted that a lot back then. You could go in that way, come out the Coal Hill area, and then out to 27 at Glenmary

Use to buy a permit and hunted Fentress, Morgan, and Scott counties, back in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. Sad what it's become. Squeezed down to very small areas in Scott county now. When that's gone I'm out I guess.

    Best Camo

I'll also add from what I've seen lately on the shelves, most of your camo makers have never seen or spent much time in the eastern woodlands in fall or winter, and couldn't make a good ground camo if they had to. And like Redblood said I wear camo for people, not the deer.

    Bear, Elk, No Deer. Help?

I could not agree more. I live and hunt in Scott, and once the bears show up, you may not see a deer there the rest of the season, and certainly not for at least two or three weeks. And yes , I do believe they kill fawns. If a grizzly can catch and kill, elk, A black bear can and will kill deer.

    Fox Squirrels

We always seen fox squirrels on Standing Stone in Overton County back in the 90s. Always wanted to go there and hunt them, but never did.
