Off to the races!

They’re just like myself…. They like and are going to eat. 8:00 is normally my wintertime start time too. My experience is to start on deeper structure in the morning and as it warms, the fish will move up shallower. If it stays warm for two to three days in a row they are gonna be a lot closer...

Got after those crappie (with descent results) during the warm December days. Been sitting on go waiting for it to warm up a little again. Water is supposed to be falling this week though. That won’t help me much. Bad day of fishing beats a good day at work anytime though….

What a duck season! It was good, then it wasn’t. Then, it became epic just to fall back off to average. Hope everyone had a safe and good season. Now, the party is over. Already trying to figure ways to make next season even better. Prepare the best we can and hope Mother Nature plays a little...

Gettin ready……….

Drove through there about 3:30 this afternoon and saw lots of ducks. They’ve got a lot more water in there too than the last week of December. Looked much more encouraging to me.

Looks like just maybe……… hopefully….. everything may come together to make for a few good days.

Mine went her first time this year too. I think her favorite part was the breakfast!

Me too also! Think I’d have to be really hungry.

Was told by a friend that has a friend that there was not a shot fired there Monday. Is that possible??
