Looking great! Finished planting okra Monday & it's already up. Took me 8 days this year to get mine in, this getting old is not for sissies! Went with some vertical growing squash from Gurneys this year but only looks like 50% germination so far. Will give it a few more days then poke some more seeds in ground.

Running a little late this year but got tomatoes and cucumbers transplanted yesterday....and still have crook neck and butternut squash to transplant and also planning to add okra.....building news beds, starting seeds in trays, transplanting....throw in work, weather and life and it get crazy this time of year....but we really enjoy time in the garden.

Mines been flooded and washed away twice now. Got 5+ inches of rain Thursday evening View attachment 179341
You must be close to my son. He is in Algood, they raise registered boar goats. They had that rain, got over 4 inches in under an hour, total over 5 inches!
They had to swim their goats out and load them on trailer's and put some in the garage.

No pics of mine, but it's doing pretty good.
Planted earlier than usual this year then we had an extended cold snap which delayed everything from sprouting. Got a good stand of corn [Ambrosia] Potatoes and cucumbers but had to replant okra, squash and beans. Tomatoes withstood the cold snap and are starting to bloom. [Roma and Celebrity].
Garden needs to be worked but soil is still too wet. Hopefully it will dry up enough to till between rows and side dress later this week.
On a side note, found deer tracks in the mud, I better get the electric fence out ASAP!!

Mine is just coming in--planted 2-1/2 weeks ago. 12 Better Boys, 1 row of pole beans, 4 rows of bush, 6 long rows of corn (Peaches &Cream). Last month I worked up a spot next to mine for my dad. He did 36 Big Boys, 2 rows of corn and a few hills of cucumbers. He did his tomatoes from seed and I was worried they were too tender when he transplanted them (storms and wind). They looked rough for 3 weeks but are taking off now. If everything keeps up good we will have 2 good gardens.
