"Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency changed the elk draw date after a bill has made it to committee reducing the quota hunt application from $12 to $10. Draw is now open until February 22 which was previously held in the summer."

Trying to cash in on that extra $2 before it changes. Shady TWRA crap. No other need for that drawing to be this early.

Hardly. You are getting 2 application chances on a single sportsman's license. This was a public request to allow successful hunters the chance to scout and prep for their hunts. It was asked for by the public in a commission meeting.

NOT TRUE!! The draw was held early so that the hunters had more time to become familiar with the area. The main reason though was so hunters could arrange for time off from work and make planning the hunt easier. The old way left as little as 5 weeks...Nothing shady about it
