As a camera user, I always hated that period between peak salt lick use in mid-August and the first scrapes showing up in late September. Finding a good location to photograph bucks during that time can be really tough.

Nice group! It is fun to watch them grow up over the summer. Maybe a couple will stick around this fall

As of today this is the only bucks i have left at this location, which is not archery hunted (corn pile) out of thirteen three weeks ago im down to two since the range shifts and acorn drops

He is a main fraum six with three stickers , a giant for here ive never seen him in the daylight since he was 3.5 and now is 6
