Spring Turkey WMA Draw

This is my first year hunting/putting in for quota hunts here in TN, an I am dying to find out if I got a spring turkey WMA tag. Does anybody have an idea when they do the drawing and results are announced?

Varies from year to year on when you get your results. If this is your first year and you had 0 priority points more than likely you will not be drawn but every now and then you get lucky! Good luck!

What did you put in for? I have some points put up because I was drawn for Oak Ridge and it has been cancelled the past two years. I out in for it again this year. Oak Ridge is the only WMA I ever put in for. Just because I am from over that way so I have family to stay with about 25 minutes away. And the majority of my family work at K25 or ORNL. I have 2 uncle's that are guards there and they are always driving the perimeter roads and secondary roads and they help me with where they are seeing the birds or deer.

If you check your account if you were successful it's there! My son just got an unsuccessful juvenile email.

I got a point. I was at zero, because I drew happy hollow last spring. I was overly optimistic that my son would draw happy hollow with one point, but he didn't either. He's sitting with two points for next year.

Oak Ridge
That's the only one I ever put in for. I live in Clarksville but I am from about 15 miles or so from Oak Ridge. That way I have family to stay with and don't have to worry bout a hotel or food. And I get to spend time with my family at the same time.

Did you get an email ? I was successful but have not received an email yet but it shows on my account and I have downloaded my award document. So in other words if you have not received an email it may be a good thing!

No haven't got n email yet but it is posted on my TWRA account that I was successfully drawn for Oak Ridge.

Actually I just checked my email today for the first time. And I do have an email. I was drawn for the Oak Ridge hunt on the 23rd/24th of April.

But we will see if it actually happens this year or not.
