Tony Basilio says there could be 2 starters missing tomorrow night vs. Bama and maybe more affected.

Uh, they're still playing the game as of Wed. morning, and I haven't seen any other reports than the one, so who knows?

9pm tipoff on a Wednesday night kinda sucks.

Other then that if this game is played it will come down to the last minute. I'm still not seeing anything about Covid 12 hours before tipoff.

Had Tennessee had their 2 best players the outcome likely would've been different. Until they meet again in the SEC Tourney— ROLL TIDE!!!!!!

Still a disappointing loss.

The vols failed to close out either half. Let bama go on a 10-0 run to tie it at 33 to end the first. Vols lead the entire 2ed half, but again couldn't close without Fulkerson or chandler the ball would have moved though Them at those moments for sure.

The SEC is loaded this year that would have gave UT a big boost pulling out that game. But they couldn't get it done.

I had to turn in at the 12:00 min commercial break, but figured we'd have a tough time holding on.

The goal in SEC play is to win your home games, and go 50-50 on the road games. You do that, and you should be in good position going into tournament play.

We could have just as easily lost without the two starters, because Bama is a good team, so put it behind us and move on. Not having the two starters could benefit down the road, because some guys got some valuable experience last night that could pay dividends the rest of the year.

Now on to the boilermakers

You know, it's just a meaningless bowl game, BUT the SEC is taking a beating in social media with being 0-4 so far. A "W" in this game will get us some unintentional pub. The SEC is 1-6 in bowl games, with the one win being a dominant win by Tennessee.

And when it's all over in a week or so, we could be the only SEC team not having their season end with an "L" ;) :D !

Not meaningless to the young men playing!
