Hunted this morn and checked my cams... my buck (and the rest of his toadies) have moved from their original bedding area and are not regular on camera any longer. Didn't see any this morn, but I'm set up between the most likely bedding area #2 to cross my property to the food plot. If he doesn't show by Saturday eve, I'm just going to go ahead and bushhog this summer plot to get ready for fall. Thermacells are worth every penny

Mosquitos were fierce this afternoon. Without that Thermacell it would have been tough. I had a few does close by most of the afternoon. It is hot!

Well just had a major SNAFU…shooting target practice at 100 yards and my 6th shot, while at full draw, my freaking limb delaminates!!!! Thankfully I'm ok but I'm in a tight spot now!
If you was closer I'd loan you my Mathews. Can't pull it back anymore got to hunt with crossbow . Maybe someone closer will help you out ..

15 yds from my stand for over 30 minutes this evening. I was 300 yds away eating ribeyes and drinking corona premier

no regrets although I would have been happy to let the air out of him

I was just about to head out and my friend called and said, "Don't come!" Apparently the farmer put a deer retardant on the beans! Said he couldn't find a track anywhere around them. He described the beans as beautiful! He was heading home. I'm sitting here 45 miles away wondering if it's worth it in this heat and no sign. Has anyone experienced this deer retardant on beans?
