Anxious to here the duration. What kind of batteries? How many batteries? What is video duration setting? Same duration for day and night?

Lithium AA's (can't remember the brand but from Amazon). 8 in each camera. Video duration is 10 seconds day and night. I'm curious to see how long they will last as well.

Absolutely. Just wish I had started running video sooner than last fall. Then again, it is still something relatively new, but vastly improving

Similar "intel" can be obtained via setting your trigger intervals to say 1 second or 5 seconds.
You will typically get better images with these "stills", and can still get most the other "intel".
Of course, for this to work, it requires a cam with very quick "recovery" between triggering events.
Most cams are optimized for their fastest trigger speeds with "still" pics (rather than video).
So most cams will "trigger" faster (get the pic) when NOT set in video mode.
SOME cams are designed mainly for video, but I'm not aware of any cell cams that trigger as fast in video mode as still image mode.
Another option I frequently use (instead of video) is adjusting the settings to take 7 pics one second apart with a triggering event, while the triggering interval may be set for 20 or 30 seconds.
This would be somewhat similar to getting 7-second video clips, with 20 or 30 seconds between clips.
Nothing against video, but the above ideas can extend battery life and provide more detailed imagery.

I have gotten more pictures with this camera than any other one so far and noticed that nearly everything that has walked by it at night has noticed it. They don't seem too spooked by it or even like they are trying to avoid it. I probably would have mounted higher and pointed down if I were mounting it today however.
I'm very curious to see how the videos from your new cams look as I'm considering purchasing a few more cams and it's either more of these or maybe a few of the ones your purchased.

Sounds like the new Browning Ridgeline (their 3rd generation cell cam) coming out now will have @ 2 to 3 times longer battery life than their current popular Pro Scout cellular.
With the newer cams offering much longer battery life,
perhaps it is becoming practical to do more video mode with cell cams.
But I'm challenged to find the time for reviewing still pics!
Will take much more time daily to review video clips.

I need to compare the pro vs. Ridgelines. If I can flip my reveals, I think these cameras would keep me happy for a few years.
Has anyone had trouble with the browning sensor detecting movement? I just bought one of these and have it setup in my yard testing it and I have walked by it several times without the camera triggering. Definitely seems spotty. Curious to see if others have had the same experience.
I also cannot get the camera to take consecutive photos either. I have the camera set on 5shot rapid fire and have switched between long range and fast motion and the results are the same. Ill reach out to browning customer service if i can't figure it out. Has anyone else had this trouble?

I had mine on a tree along with an older Browning (I don't remember the model) and had no issues with it triggering that I could tell comparing the pictures. The Pro Scout triggered and took videos of deer or bobcats that the older Browning sometimes did not trigger on.
i haven't tried multi shot with mine yet. I have only really used video.
Yeah for some reason this one is having a very hard time triggering. With intervals set at 1 second with 5shot rapid fire I can stand there for a solid minute waving my hand and might get 3 pics if I'm lucky. Probably going to call Browning tomorrow. Hoping my second one doesn't have the same problems.
