Youth hunting with a suppressor

Are there any restrictions to allowing youth to hunt with a rifle equipped with a suppressor/silencer?

There is nothing in the TWRA regulations that would limit a youth from using a silencer depending on the interpretation of the regulation where it says persons possessing the proper license from the US Dept. of Treasury may use one as long as they have a copy of the license on their person. The regulation makes it sound like only the person who is covered by that license can use the silencer. Please contact the TWRA Law Enforcement Div. for clarification on it.

There may be federal regulations that come into play as well on silencer use. I have no knowledge of the federal regs, so you probably need to go through the Dept. of Treasury to see if they have any restrictions.
