My third year to compete in the Sierra Cup two day F-Class match at the Bench Rest Rifle Club of St Louis, MO. This is my highest level win in my shooting career. My third year to compete. Each year, I've moved up the ladder. This match is well attended by competitors around the country, so I feel especially privileged and blessed to win. At 68 years old, I'm competing with much younger shooters with better eyes and reflexes. But it goes to show, if you believe and work hard, age is not an overriding factor. Praise be to the Lord!

That's cool. Big congrats. Victory by the narrowest of margins had you sweating, I'll bet. Makes it that much sweeter.

Sierra is based right down the road from there (I guess about 2hr away) in Sedalia. I keep saying that I'm going to go by there some time

I shoot in a class call FTR or F class target rifle. It's caliber specific , so it must be .308 or .223. I shoot .308 with a 200.20x Berger hybrid bullet. Mid range is 600 yds which is what this match was. I also shoot long range which is 1000 yds. The rifle is custom and must weigh no more than 18.18 lbs.
