Hey guys, I need a little help. I have never tried to predator hunt but I am starting to see a lot of coyotes on camera at my place. What is the best way to go about hunting them? Call into an open field? Any help would be appreciated.

Depends, lotta variables involved, more info would be helpfull, are you hunt'n in a urban area, on a lease with a lot of timber, a farm ???

I see your located in Hixon so I assume its your in the Chattanooga area ?

I am hunting in Georgetown, TN, just north of Chattanooga. It is a small 40 acre tract that is half timber and half fields.

Dont worry about "WHERE" (set up woods, open field) as much as the wind and the approach into the area and where you think the coyotes will come from!! The WIND is the absolute most important thing you can pay attention to. Its the ONE battle as a predator hunter you must win!
