around 3600 from a 6-06 and your looking at besting 300RUM 180 MK loads by 300 FPS.

this is getting complicated.

I still think the 6.5-280AI will be the way to go to get the Magnum trajectory with less than 70 grs of powder and have a 3000 round bbl life.

I think you are right.

I have 2 6.5/06 AI`s and the little extra might just be the difference.

I`ve decided to gussy up the 6mm/06 and have added a contemporary 30 degree shoulder. This will add a bit more umph, and make the case look like a death ray.
