I have had my hha dial one pin sight for 2 years and have fiddled with it off and on never have got it what I call "right". Well cleaned up the hunting room and found the instructions that came with the sight. There was a paragraph in fine tuning after initial set up. I did this step and oh my. This thing is perfect now. I wasn't impressed before but now this thing is unreal. I've tested it thru 70 yards as that's all the room I have and range it dial it and if u hold it this sucker dead nutz on.

Impressive hha. Kudos to u. So if anybody has one and hasn't done that step I highly recommend it.

I have no idea what they recommend for "fine tuning", but that is the reason why I highly recommend everyone sight in using ¼" lines--especially when making tapes for hha or target styled sights--I made a post several months ago on the subject. Tapes are only as good as the data that is inputed, and using ¼" lines will always result in good tapes and accurate fixed pin settings--provided the shooter does their part.

are you referring to the horizontal and vertical line for sighting in?

Did they have you adjust the 3rd axis?

Yes, the ¼" lines.

Yes, the ¼" lines.

I have never used that method but I have a new to me bow I'm going to try it out on in the next couple weeks. I've heard it's extremely effective way to sight in.

It definitely is a much better and much more accurate method of sighting in an adjustable sight or setting fixed pins, than shooting a 2" dot, because you just focus on one plane at a time instead of focusing on both the vertical and horizontal plane. Not to mention, if you set the pin to match the arrow in the middle of the ¼" line, there is no doubt it is set to a specific yardage. Changing the term to set small, miss small greatly applies in this case.

No. I was going to ur method next if I hadn't found those instructions. It's great now. It was fine before. I'm just picky. I didn't like dialing it to 58 yards in it consistently hitting 2 inches low. Lol. Not that I hunt that for I just like knowing I can dial it to a specific yardage if I want to and if I do my part the sight is right.
