I have a juvenile to take Saturday morning. But due to pryer arrangements he can not go sat evening or Sunday morning if need be. Was wondering if anyone had or new of a child that would like to go. I am flexible if capable we can run n gun or hunt from a blind. Just trying to get the kiddoes involved. Western middle Tenn. :tu:

I'm just playing but I would travel to middle TN to hunt that target rich environment. I have made trips in the past to hunt with REN and Grizzly Johnson.

I'm booked up for juvi now! Have the potential to see 3 birds go flop this weekend. But more important the gratitude that nobody else can give beside a kid that killed his first turkey. Thanks roost1 for hooking us up.

Awesome of you to do this! Best of luck to the kiddos. I'll be in the blind with mine boy hopefully waiting on his first longbeard.

Good luck to y'all as well. There is nothing like it. I would rather take a kid then go and kill by myself any day of the week. His first will be ingrained in yours and his mind forever. Have fun .

So, you're taking three different juvys? Are they all going together?

Awesome! I hope you have three successful hunts. How great would that be?

Take pics and/or video!

My two boys will be attending. They just knocked out the hunter safety this past weekend and have been hunting since age 6. James is 11 and Scott is 9. Would like to thank chebuck. I haven't been on here in a while and would have missed this if it were not for a good buddy looking out for me and the boys so thanks go to Roost1 as well.

Congrates again tasaman on your 2 boys completing the hunter safety course. I know you are a proud father. It is honor to be there for someone's first turkey and hope that we can get it done for them.

Well chebuck got it done for James. I'll let him tell the story since I was with Scott at that time. Second day Scott got up at 330 and all ready to go waiting on me! "Come on, we don't want to be late!" Ok ok I'm coming. So we put in a very full day and watched a BUNCH of birds for several hours. Quite a show. A few came near at about 50-55 yards and just not close enough for the gun and the kid so we didn't have a shot that day. We stayed and even watched the turkey go to roost at 715. Like I said it was a long day.

I can't thank cheybuck and Roost 1 enough for helping put the boys on birds. I am very grateful. I am hoping that Scott gets his soon for as much work he put in he deserves one.
