She don't mind me to debone on the skinning pole and then coming inside to cut it up the rest of it. But I tell ya. It takes several days and a lot of smelly candles to get deer brains smell out of your house

I fleshed out a deer hide on the kitchen floor. Afterwards I opened all the windows and ran fans to get the smell out before the SO arrived home. Thought I did a pretty good job until she opened the door, took one step, and said, "What is that smell!?" That was 20+ years ago and I still get regular reminders not to do that again.
