so far i've hunted on Hick Hill [lewis county] and Cheatham [cheatham county]. on hick hill I've seen deer sign but no deer
on cheatham i've gone once and saw the white tail bounding away from me 2x and poof invisible deer...

usually hunt on the ground (no tree stand)...

Dang get in there and scout hick hill i Turkey hunted there it should be eat up with deer

The deer are spooky on hicks hill. The road hunters make it look like the interstate during gun season. I saw 2 small bucks out there a few days ago right off the first road to the right that drives thru all the tall cut overs. They didnt hang around for any pics! Once they hit those 8-10 ft pines they are gone!

been on the pine ridges, down in the hollers, down by the creeks, just never see anything there...been by the trace, been in the tall overgrown fields with grass 7-8 feet tall, but gee I never see a deer. sighs...
