I hope that you have the opportunity at some point in time to try grass fed(not sagebrush) antelope. I think that it is at the top of the heap. However, the ranch owner and my outfitter where I hunt say that even the dogs wont eat it!! After seeing them drive around on the dusty roads during the Oct midday heat with a skinned carcass lying in the back of their truck, I can probably understand why! But, treated properly I think that it is better than elk, and so do the Colorado processors who handle my animals.
