I found one for sale and I am debating on buying it I am fairly positive it is not a pre-64 I like the gun it is a carbine model I believe some people call them eastern carbine or so I have heard. The gun is in good condition no rust few marks on the stock. They want 299 for it is that reasonable? I am just not sure what its worth I have looked on gunbroker but the classic Winchesters kinda run the gammet on value from 2,000$ down to 400$. Thanks for any help, knowing me I will probably go pick it up tomorrow.
