It is with great regret that I am offering up one of my babies.
Winchester Model 70 in .270win. Has a Nikon Buckmaster 3x9x40 scope with the BDC bullet drop compensator reticle. Black synthetic stock. Trigger set at 3lbs, crisp and zero creep.
Serial # G2175xxx which puts the manufacture date in the early 1990's, which is when I bought it.
It is in very good condition. No scratches, gouges, chips, or dings. It isn't mint, because I've hunted with it, but it IS in very good shape. No rust, no pitting in the bore. I take meticulous care of my weapons.
It loves 150 grain ammo, especially Winchester Supreme Accubonds or Ballistic Silvertips if you prefer factory loads.
It shoots 1" at 100yds all day with either in 150 grain, but I handload, and I get between 1/2 and 3/4" with my loads, which is 150gn Ballistic Silvertips, and the bullet seated just off the lands. This is one very, very accurate weapon.
I'll include 10 rounds of this gun's favorite loads (all I have left) as well as 10 rounds of handloaded factory spec blasting ammo with regular ballistic tips. I'll include the recipe if you load your own.
Also, if you handload, I'll throw in some Nosler (Combined Technology) Ballistic Silvertip bullets, about 70 , I just haven't counted.
OK, here's the deal. The gun alone for $450, or with scope $550.
I will seriously entertain trade offers, but only for Barnett crossbows, or nice muzzleloaders of similar value. Don't need handguns, shotguns, vertical bows. Yeah, so I'm picky.
Please PM me any offers
