I am a firm believer in the sniff test and if I have any doubt I toss it, no matter what it is.
Wild turkey, in my opinion, stinks so I'm not sure that will work in this case.

So anyway, my buddy was kind enough to give me the breast out of a turkey he killed Saturday afternoon.
He killed it and took it home and breasted it out and put it in the fridge.
He forgot about it till yesterday and brought me the breast, just in a ziplock bag and I put it in the fridge in my office.
I had to go to the doctor yesterday and wasn't gonna chance it sitting in my truck (no cooler) while I was in the doctors office.

Soooo would you trust it to take home and freeze or cook today?
Any kind of poultry scares me and this has been in the fridge for basically 4 days now.

I bet the chicken at the grocery store sits a whole lot longer.

No, that's exactly right, think harder!! Wait... no...,think more intensely. As for the turkey, call it cage free, wet aged, organic, non GMO, no hormones "gourmet turkey", and have at it.
