Why do they always do the championship game during the week?

I swear I just don't get it?

I would like to watch it but not staying up till 11p.m. on a Monday night to do so. :bash:

That's what I was thinking that you will capture the existing NFL fanbase that will be tuning in on Monday Night anyways and then you have the College folks that are going to tune into the NC to watch it. So its like doubling down or splitting 10's.
