Not 100% true... Mac hasn't been happy here for sometime. Monday when he gave his press conference that was just one more thing he added to show. Now HE thought he could get out and get his money but he messed up by saying threats then that gave UF a reason to give him his wish of wanting out.

Meyer started losing then bounced. Spurrier left for the NFL. Mac was brought in to fix the offense. Doesn't take UF 5 years to know when to cut a coach loose. Try again...

How about we try this. You wouldn't have this talk now if not for the "threat" snafu at the press conference. FL was
perfectly content to let the team performance ride for now due to the past ship won the last 2 yrs. JM sees the
growth of GA and wants out, however the talk of threats may have cost him lost of money. Sure the 9 players
caught in the card scandal hurt but I to come on here and act like this was going on for a while is just wrong.
Everyone knows TN has been a dumpster fire for some tine now, but this FL news has caught their fan base
off guard and most (but not all) only know to point finger at other teams.

I did...... Posted Friday that he would be gone Sunday no matter how the GA game turned. Everything changed last Monday during his presser.

But something had been going on for a while. Mrs. Donkey has been staying in Arizona for about 6 months. She hates Fl humidity and she's been helping with a new grandbaby.
The snafu just sped the process up and gave UF a loophole to try and not pay the $12m.
