Who Only Hunts Once a Week?

I've hunted twice this year so far. I haven't even bothered cleaning my muzzle loader yet. I'll hunt 2 days next week rain or shine, and Dec 3rd, 4th, and 5th rain or shine as well. That'll probably be the extent of my season.

Oh, and for the same reasons as you. Family and work....

I hunt Saturdays and afternoon on Sundays if wife is cool with it. I try to get out there afternoons during the week but work makes it hard.I wish I could be out there every day but I know better.

We also have a 2 year old girl, so I usually hunt Saturday morning. Then Sunday evening following church.

I go Saturday morning and Sunday morning and an afternoon every 2 weeks or so.

I bow hunted 2 mornings which was a first since 2008. Took my son on the juvi hunt and he killed 2 the first morning so that we called it done. Took him back Saturday and Sunday for the muzzleloader and that's all I've been. Have plans to catch up when rifle gets here around Thanksgiving a little if I can.

Im in the same boat. Saturdays for me. I usually try to get in at least one evening a week during bow season, but thats over when the time changes. I usually take a few days off work sometime during season and try to hunt hard those days. I typically kill a couple a year and could probably kill more does.

I'm fortunate enough to have 400 acres 15 minutes from the house and an understanding wife. I also work for myself, so that helps too.

I hunt 3 to 4 times a week.
