I'm looking at getting a bipod for late season hunting. I like to walk fence rows at dark and shoot a lot of does this way. Unfortunately, I often have a hard time finding a good rest as the deer are very attuned to movement...anything more than a drop and shoot and they scare.

I'm thinking my best option is a bipod that adjust from 12-24" so that I can take prone or seated shots. Who makes the best one for this?

Harris gets my vote too. Get the S model and get it with notched legs. The smooth legs will begin to slip after they're used for a while.

Harris, hands down.

Make sure you get the 'swivel' or 's' model.

I'm a big fan of the 12-25" models myself. I can shoot prone or seated. They are standard on all of my heavier hunting rifles.
