I'd like to know when browning started putting these grips on the hi powers? This is an early 50s model with the tangent sights and the stock is slotted ,

Did they make those types back then?
Have you got the shoulder stock for it?

And then some.....they're definitely not cheap anymore.

While I won't tell a man what he should buy or shoot, I won't be buying a Browning. Searching reviews of the service center results in hundreds of very bad reviews. Twice I have had to deal with a gun manufacturers service center and both times were fantastic. Savage and Berretta are top notch in my book for service. It doesn't guarantee a shooter but it at least means they stand behind the product.
Are there any reviews on the grips that you've seen that would tell me more about the ones that are on this one?
