Read your hunting guide. You dont need a license to kill hogs. Theres no seasonr ether. Take you money to another state to hunt hogs

Try one of the barrier island hunts off the coast of Georgia. Fun and hogs galore. Great primitive camping by boat!

There's all kinds of hogs to shoot! Big and small it's fun for all.

Call your state Rep. and ask him why you have to go out of state to hunt hogs.

What did he do? did he ban hog hunting in Tn or something or did he make it too hard for someone to hunt them here?

I didn't here what he done yet and i hate to call them because it will take all day before you get to talk to someone.

There is a open hunt for hogs at Catoosa in early January I think it's about the last hunt open for hogs in the state.

You can legally take hogs on North Cumberland on any hunt. There are a crap load of them up there in places. I saw more hog sign up there the one time I've been this year, than I have ever seen.

I wish I had time to go. I would be willing to point another fellow Union County fellar in the right directon.

LOL i usually wouldn't have time myself but deer season didn't do good this year so i need something to fill the freezer LOL.

I'll try to find a other Hunter up here to go with me.But thanks again SES for telling me.Oh by the way what part of Corryton you in?

This is a draw hunt, isn't it?

Since you obviously don't own your own property to kill them on that option is out. Now you must find a landowner who is willing to call TWRA and get a permit and have you placed on it to be able to legally kill a hog.

I own my own Property to hunt but they just aren't any hogs here to hunt.

I'll try to find a farmer that is willing to call TWRA and put me on the list to hunt them.

Two questions for you fellas to anwser

1. has anyone ever put an add on Craigslist to hunt hogs free of charge for the farmers or anything like that?

2.The other question i got is can i Legaly do that to find a place to hunt them?

Well I'm a week late jumping in on this one..I'm in Corryton also..off Washington Pike..never made it hunting once this year but I had wanted to go down to south Cherokee...there's supposedly alot of them down there...went once and didn't see any..never knew there was any on Royal Blue...hunted there a couple of times last year...saw tons of Elk sign but no hogs...I'd be up for a trip if someone wants to go....my hunting buddy moved up to N Dakota back in August...

I'm in Anderson county, in Claxton, I have seen a bunch Of sign up in new river area, north Cumberland wma. I don't have a clue on how to hunt the things but would love to find out. I'm down to go sometime. Just pm me

Do they still have the hog hunts at Big South Fork? In the past it opened the week after youth hunt. We have killed a few there in jan and feb.

This hunt is a diy that you have to buy a $5 permit for

The BSF hunt is tough. Not alot of hogs and alot of land.Be prepared to cover alot of ground and see alot of hog sign, but not see any hogs..Thats usually the way it goes up there.I used to hunt it every year for hogs, but its not worth the effort.
