When can you expect skipjack?

In Chickamauga lake just below the Watts Bar dam?

Not sure about Watts but ive been catching them good below the Chick dam the last week but I went to Raccoon Mtn where it discharges into the river and didn't even see a single one

Normally can catch them just below watts bar dam at the discharge from the power plant. We call it the blowhole. It's where the water bubbles out on the rhea county side probably half to 3 quarter mile down stream from the dam. White grub or roost er tail is a killer on them.

Thanks, I was just down there and we tried fishing for them just below the dam and struck out. Never gave any thought to trying for them at the blow hole. Will give that a go next time.
