Didn't hunt all day after all, so we divided at the last minute to make a quick fishing trip. When you hunt on opening day you have the lake all to yourself 😁

Caught enough for supper, but didn't think to get fish pics.

I like fishing Maple, except for using the boat ramp, and more so when someone else is there and is parked in the curve beside to boat ramp so they don't have to walk far to use the pier. The drop off on the left side of the ramp(as you're looking at the lake) at the bottom of it does not help matters either.

Chickamauga had a kayak bass tournament this weekend. I've never seen so many kayak fishermen and women in one place. Multi thousand dollar rigs too. Every one that I saw was a Hobie Pro Angler 12 or 14 with sonar graphs on em...and were below the dam in the tailwaters fishing! I'm skeered down there in my boat. Ain't no way I'd be down there on a piece of plastic.
