You can do a switch back if possible. I'd also maybe see about a landing. I built a ramp for my mother in law. I had plenty of room and I think I went 16 foot of ramp. I don't remember how high it was but it worked out we could go to her driveway and it wasn't overly steep. But I was more than 1"/12"

The steps are probably 30ft from drive with a straight brick walk leading to the porch. Steps are kinda off center from walk but stay are easy moved as are handrails.

Just know you don't have to follow code, but it's good to be close. We have to work within ADA limits but a home owner doesn't really have to follow them like a contractor would. What you don't want is to spend money on materials and realize it's not going a work like it you'd hoped
