I have an opportunity to acquire one at a bargain price that has been used very little and is in great shape. Its probably 5 years old.

Re: WHAT'S YOUR OPINION ON API GRAND SLAM MAGNUM EXTREME GS3

I have an api grand slam supreme and I like it and for the right price would buy it again. With that said I would much rather have a summit viper. They carry better, sit on a tree better, climb better and are quieter and in the end more comfortable to me.

I've had a couple api climbers in the past but will never own another one due to the chain that goes around the tree concept. Once the protective covering breaks, the chain does not keep its form and gets caught easily on the tree and makes for an aggravating climb. Plus the hitch pin attachment is a little aggravating.

I have a summit viper, Titan , and 2 API mag grand slam supreme. I like them all. Summits are lighter but my api stands are very comfortable. Each stand has things I like better than the others. I'd buy it if the deal is rt.

I like my API. I've used Summit and Ol Man over the years. I currently have an Old Man drone and API grand slam supreme. I actually put a summit seat in my API and it sits very good. It is also very quiet. I use it the most the time.

I've had a API Grand Slam for about 13 years and love it. I change the chain cover about every three to four years.

I've had an API Grand Slam since 2003. I've never replaced the straps or seat. I've never let it in the woods. If you are a small framed person it's all you'll ever need. I had to upgrade to a little bigger one but I'm 6'6" 220lbs so I needed the leg room

I have 1 API stand. I like the weight and I like the comfort. It's secure enough for me. I hate the chain system they use. The cover over the chain needs replacing too often and if you don't it doesn't climb with a darn. If it wasn't for that I'd use it as much if not more than any of my other stands.
