What's your favorite salsa mix?

Need a good one to mix up!

You will love this.

6 large seeded, peeled, chopped tomatoes

2 heaping tablespoons chopped jalapeno peppers adjust to taste

1 small chopped onion

2 tablespoons salt

2 cloves minced garlic

2 tablespoons white vinegar

4 tablespoons lime juice

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Mix and serve, best chilled overnight in fridg.

Best thing to do is to go to a local Mexican restaurant and buy a big quart of salsa. Probably $5 - $7 but it's (most likely) fresh and tastes a lot better than anything you can buy off the grocery shelves.

Of course mixing up some homemade is different story and I'd be interested in a good home recipe, too.

hey Gone... that sounds good. Think I will have to try that. I know we can buy salsa of our liking at the Mexican rest..but I would like to mix up my own!
