I seen a thread before spring Turkey season where everyone said what they were using to chase them thunder chickens. So why not ask about deer. For me I'm shooting a lever action Remington 30-30 and a Winchester bolt .270. Pics of your arsenal would be great!

35 Marlin 336c with 200gr bullet mostly. Savage .308 every once in a while.

Edited to include my muzzleloader - TC Omega 50 caliber, since it is the most exciting time of the year to hunt for me.

MZ season, T/C Omega 50. Gun season, in dry weather, lefty Ruger Model 7 in 308. Rainy weather, right-handed synthetic stocked A-Bolt II in 7mm-08.

TC Omega .50 caliber during muzzleloader and more than likely it'll be my old Marlin 444 lever action during rifle.

I might take my Winchester model 70 Featherweight in .308 out for a hunt or two.

Knight disc elite 50 cal for muzzy and Winchester model 70 featherweight in 270 walnut stock for pretty days and ruger american 308 synthetic on nasty days.

Honestly not sure yet. May use my 700 varmint sf 308. Handloaded 178 gr eldx. Or may use the Wilson tactical hunter or the ballistic advantage I built in 6.5 cm. Also with handloads, 143 gr eldx.

CVA Muzzleloader with Barnes XPB
30-30 Marlin, just because I told my father in-law I'd kill a deer with the gun he gave my son.
After that, I will probably shoot my 264 WM or .257 Roberts, perhaps one of the newer Nosler rifles.... It's a tough choice but one I enjoy thinking about before each hunt.

Muzzleloader t/c omega which is my favorite part of the season and t/c encore pro hunter 300 win mag

In the CWD world of west TN we get to gun hunt a lot now. I just picked up a Remington model 7 in 243. That's going to be my go to gun this year.

Going to start my season this year with my Marlin 444 and once I kill with it I am going to carry my Marlin 45-70. Just always wanted to kill a deer with both. If I am fortunate enough to do that I will finish with either a 35 Remington or 30-30.

Those are some seriously traditional guns, and good ones at that!
