Seems to be a lot of dedicated fisherman/woman here and I am wondering what type and brand of boat do you use and what type of fishing do you mainly do?

Primarily small mouth bass but just about anything that is biting. I sometimes take my boat to the gulf coast and fish near shore or in Mobile bay too. Here is a stock photo from the Starcraft website.

Diehard,
Do you ever feel handicapped by that semi vee? Always thought Starcrafts were nice rigs.

I have never had any real problems. I bought it because I wanted the whole family to have room to move around in the boat. I am not going anywhere at warp speed, but I will get there. I can fish four people comfortably and it will seat 9 when I take the front casting seat out. It has plenty of dry storage, two rod lockers and two live wells. I know I can't run the clinch in it, but then again I can't take a river boat three miles off shore in the gulf either.

One problem I didn't foresee was getting people back on the boat if they have been out swimming. I solved that by adding a fin to the motor. I could have added a ladder to the back, but the fin works fine. The fin helps me get on plane sooner too.

 I just recently bought an old beat up jon boat with a 40 hp Force motor. The weather's been so bad since I bought it I've not been on the water with it yet. Richard's posts have got me chompin at the bit to try it out on some Crappie!

2013 Nitro Z9. Bass fish Lake Chickamauga mainly but some on Guntersville and Parksville.

I fish for everything, but my favorite to catch is trout. I need a boat that can do everything from shallow river fishing, to lake fishing for bass and crappie, and also get me/us to our hunting locations.

21 foot Stratos Pro Elite with a 200 horse Johnson. I Bass fish Dale Hollow, Ft Loudon, Tellico, Watts Bar, and Melton Hill. I also have a Jackson Cruise 12 Kayak that I river, lake, and pond fish out of. An 18-20 foot center console aluminum boat would be about the best all around do all boat for TN.

I like to fish shallow water rivers. Crappie in the spring comes second. My boat is a RiverPro. 200 hp mercury inboard jet. It handles shallow water with ease.

instead of going out and taking a picture, I'll steal stik's. Only difference is mine has a 60/40 Mercury jet on it.

2008 16ft express sportsman with a 40hp tohatsu, originally came with a 50hp Yamaha but the original owners blew it up, I have no complaints, it's been a good boat
