Give me some suggestions on what to plant as a good winter food plot in a cut bean field. I plan on throwing out several sacks of seed on 2 acres right before the next rain system comes through. Winter wheat had a good stand here I the past.

Winter wheat, some oats, rape, kale purple top turnips will be good. Lots of options. If you want it to last into spring, summer, mix in some ladino, durana clover. If it's a dry area alfalfa and chicory have done well for me. Imperial whitetail clover grows good here regardless of soil type and the deer love it.
