What do you do with a yote after killing it? Leave it laying or what. I will start hunting them after deer season for the first time and don't know what to do with them.

I don't think it's ethical to waste a resource. A lot of yote pelts have good value. Put them up and sell the fur.

they are much much harder to call and kill than you think. that is why most new yote hunters dont hunt them for long- so success is far from guaranteed i can assure you. we weigh and photograph all of ours. i gibe the unique color phases- black, silver, blonde to my taxidermist

I brought one home and skinned it out. Ended up throwing it away.
Now I just leave them laying where they fall. I may try skining and tanning the next one if it's a really nice one.
I can't believe I said a "nice one" I hate Coyotes!!!!!

i heard their furs don'y bring much money heard as low as 25 dollars a pelt , not really worth skinning for 25 dollars. now if i killed a nice one full fur and looked nice its going to be a full body mount for my house......other than that leave them laying after a photo op with the morning kills...
