What time will you be climbing the tree...

In the morning? Been a whole year since I've been in a tree, I'm thinking around 515am I need to be hooking up and climbing (?)

Like most of the other guys have said 5:15 or 5:30. I know most of ya'll might think this is funny/weird whatever. I don't like to leave the house till I've had a good morning dump. Nothing worse than getting up a tree all set up and getting a urge.I would rather get in a tree late than get up and turn around and have come back down and walk away from my stand.I've been setting my alarm and getting up early for a month to get my body clock set.

Before season starts I codition my body to take care of business at night that way it's not an issue during hunting time. It usually takes about a week to get your body on schedule.

As far as getting on stand I like to be settled in my tree and everything in place 30 minutes before shooting light. If I'm a little earlier all the better. I always allow some extra time for the inevitable delay of some type. I also try not to use any flashlights to get to my stand. Doesn't take long for your eyes to adjust to the dark, but the second you cut on a light your blind outside of that beam of light. If I do need light I try to only use red or green and most of the time if there is any moon I don't need either.
