I've shot'em with everything from low brass 6, 7 1/2's, and 8's to the same loads but high brass. Favorite load is high brass 71/2's outta a mod barrel. Crows are easy to bring down once you get'em in range (which can be the tough part)

Rolled one on Sat at 30 yards with 7.5 cheap shells and an IC choke...we were about to shoot some keet for a bachelor party on the farm. Was at 30 yards and dead on impact. If they are inside of 30 yards just about anything will do it. I'd like 6's and a mod choke if I had my druthers.

I seem to get the best results from high brass #6 shot out of mod barrel. #7 will work too

What I use I was just wondering if I put a full choke in and shot 7.5s dove loads if it would kill same distance sure would be cheaper :D

Works great.
Crows are not that hard to kill (once within range).
Another good alternative would be any kind of "cheap" #6 shot shell. Just generally speaking, I have a slight preference for #6. But under 40 yards, matters very little what you're using.

Thats good thinking. Could always give it shot and see how it works for you. Let us know so we can all switch. lol I used a single shot 20 ga full choke to crow hunt when i started. It killed crows.
