What's the consensus on using a cape that was put in the freezer wet? And what's the best way dry a wet cape in the future?

Thanks

It should be ok as long as it was bagged well and not left in the freezer for over a year.
My biggest pet peeve when I was doing taxidermy was people bringing me a deer head that had been in the freezer for 2-3 years or more. It makes it very hard to cape and flesh when freezer burned.
Best way to dry a wet cape is to roll it up in a dry towel, hair side out, turn inside out [flesh side]and roll up again in a dry towel.
