Had a good time and spent most of my time just looking around with the depth finder at the new spot I fished today.
It was cold but not miserable.
Would have been better if I would have had my neck gator and gloves but hey, at least I was there.

I did miss 3 bites that were probably crappie.
They would do the fast tap about 3 times but never took it.

I did manage to get this monster in the boat though.
He was fooled by a bison colored panfish magnet.

Good deal Ruger!

I don't think I have been on the water since our Arkansa trip in Oct. i have either had some meeting or trip on the pretty weekends I have been off. Then we have one like today where there is the wind and I can't get excited to go with all the stuff I need to be doing at home.

Got to where I just don't like the wind.

That is one thing about taking a trip away to fish somewhere, I am ready to fish, it doesn't matter if it is 15 degrees or raining or wind.

I heard that woodyard.
Wind sucks for sure.

biglures, I think it is the combination of cold temps and lack of sunshine due to muddy water conditions.
Just a guess though.

All I know is, I caught a fish. :D

Nice job. That bison color is a killer!

Yep I have had pretty good luck with it.
I had crappie magnets on two other lines. One green / chart and one black / chart.
The green / chart got 3 different bites. Nothing on the other one.
I am new to the crappie magnets, yesterday was my first time to use them.
