Not the end of the world but makes me sick.
Headed out yesterday to spend the weekend with @CBU93 and do our thing.
Hang out eat dead stuff and do a little fishing.

I have never traveled with the cover on my boat but heavy storms in the area I decided to put it on.
Hardly out of town and a semi had a blowout.
I was looking in the rear view mirror watching the cover. It is too big for my boat but I bought it that way on purpose so it wouldn't be a pain to put on.
I was making sure it was staying on.

Road gator was covering my entire lane when I looked up. Too late to stop car in the left lane so I couldn't swerve.
Direct hit.

Broke the spoiler or whatever it is off the front of the truck and went all the way down the side of my boat.
Scratched the piss out of it in several spots scratched but luckily didn't tear my fender off.

Trashed my license plate and bracket.
Freaking sucks.

Good thing is, everything is drivable, nothing got destroyed and nobody got hurt.
Here was my little bumper thumper from 2022.
50 MPH, lady turned directly into me from lane next to me.

Yikes, did it scratch the boat or just the trailer? Luckily it was just the lower valance on the truck. Bad part is I'm afraid it ripped out the "screws" and you will need to replace the part it attached to if it was also plastic
Boat trailer and fender.

Oh my. I added a boat plan with farm bureau. It was 30.00 a yr. I need to check and see what that covers. Seems alot of tndeer people have boat accidents. Im a nervous wreck pulling it to lake already. Luckily i dont have to go through any towns.

That sucks but glad it wasn't worse and get the boat too but just the trailer and fender. When I was taking my last boat to the dealer to trade it I had a blowout and it messed the fender up and nothing else thankfully. I was maybe 10 miles from the dealer when it happened.

She is actually lucky that I was beside her to hit.
She had violently jerked the wheel 90° into me, trying to avoid a car's butt sticking out of the center lane.
She was driving an older Bronco, (very prone to rollovers), and, had I not been there, would have rolled the vehicle at 50 MPH.
She had a 2 year old baby and a 2 month old baby in the car.
Luckily, none of us involved were injured.
I had no scratches, no bruises.
I hit a storefront, two parked trucks, skipped off the side of a telephone pole, and hit that street sign post that is embedded in the right front of my 4x4 Yukol XL.
Every side, corner of my vehicle was trashed. The Yukon had zero blems before th accident.
Both axles ripped out from under the trailer, huge hole in the bottom of the boat.
